The phenomena is caused by a type of sea weed called Sueda. It starts growing during April and May, then stays green during the summer, but starts turning vividly red in autumn.

One of the best moments of this summer was when I woke up at 5 am and ran towards the sea to see the sun rise. I felt part of this world, in the right place at the right time
